Artistic Approach:

I am a passionate watercolourist and a member of the New Zealand Botanical Art Society and the New Zealand Watercolour Artists Society.

I have always loved playing with colour, as long as I can remember I had crayons, felt pens, pastels and coloured pencils, always colouring in big jumbo colour in books as a child but never very good. I admired watercolours and always fascinated with the subtle and washy effects but it was only at age 40 that I finally picked up a brush and started to dabble with watercolour. I picked some pansies out of the garden, did a basic sketch and my journey and fascination with watercolour began.

Mother nature is my inspiration from which I will never tire and botanicals are my specialty but I also love to paint animals, birds and babies, the possibilities are endless! Please get in touch if you are interested in owning a unique watercolour painted with love!
