WAYS TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY
There are four ways you can submit work for selection for this exhibition
1. Online - preferred
Fill in the online form which is at the bottom of the page - keep scrolling down until you find it.
Upload your images when prompted on the form.
Artist statement and plant information to be included when prompted on the form
2. Download the entry form and email to us
Fill it in, scan it and email along with your images and artist statement and plant information for each entry to baww25nz@gmail.com.
Put your name and BAWW Entry and images in the subject line.
3. Personally hand in at Auckland Botanic Gardens
Either download and print your entry form or pick up a copy from the Auckland Botanic Gardens.
Put your filled in entry form along with your artist statement and plant information for each entry and a CD or USB stick with your images in an envelope and address to BAWW25, c/o Liz Powell.
Clearly write your name on the envelope.
CDs and USBs will not be returned.
4. Postal entry
Either download and print your entry form or pick up a copy from the Auckland Botanic Gardens.
Fill it in and send it along with your artist statement and plant information for each entry and a CD or USB stick with your images on to:
BAWW25, c/o Liz Powell, Auckland Botanic Gardens, 102 Hill Road, Manurewa, Auckland 2105.
CDs and USBs will not be returned.
2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please familiarise yourself with the Terms and Conditions before submitting your entry
3. HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR IMAGES
It is very important that your images are of the best quality. Blurred or images with dark or background or show a crooked image will not show your work at it’s best and may influence the jury.
To give yourself the best chance of your work being selected we suggest you get your work professionally scanned to get the best colour match and a clean white background if applicable.
JPEG files only will be accepted.
Images should not show any matting or framing.
Signatures should NOT be visible on the image to ensure unbiased selection.
Size
300dpi X 25cms high.
Labelling of images
Individual files must be labelled with artist’s name, Genus/species and image title exactly as written on your submission form. For example - Jane Smith - Phormium tenax - Flax Flowers
Unnamed or incorrectly named images will not be accepted.
If submitting images on a CD, the CD must be labelled with marker only, with the artist’s name. CDs will not be returned.
If submitting images on a USB, please label the USB with the artist’s name. USBs will not be returned.
Where to submit your images
You will upload your images via the online entry form or
Email them to us if you are downloading the form, scanning and emailing it to us or
If you are using the postal entry form, post your CD or USB along with your completed form or
Personally deliver the USB or CD with your entry form to the Auckland Botanic Gardens, all in a envelope addressed to BAWW25, c/o Liz Powell. Clearly write your name on the envelope.
CDs and USBs will not be returned.
4. HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR ENTRY
There are two ways to pay your entry fee

In person -
At the Auckland Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre
Please give your name and say it is for entry to the BAWW25 exhibition
PLEASE NOTE -
If payments for entry are not received by 25th November 2024, images will not be submitted for selection.
